Glen Rock Jewish Center (GRJC) has a busy March calendar filled with community events for all ages. From Shabbat dinners to comedy nights and Purim celebrations, there’s something for everyone in Glen Rock.
GRJC kicks off the month with a Passover Wine Tasting on March 6th at 7:30 pm. Following that, on March 7th, GRJC hosts “Shabbat Together,” a community Shabbat experience featuring a kiddie sing-a-long, catered dinner, and an intergenerational service. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up. That same evening, join the Birthday/Anniversary Shabbat for a special blessing if your special day falls in March.
Laugh the night away on March 8th at 8:30 pm with GRJC’s Comedy Night. Enjoy beer, wine, snacks, and soft drinks while being entertained by talented comedians Brett Druck, Marla Schultz, and Joey Vega.
The fun continues with the Purim Carnival on March 9th, featuring separate sessions for Nursery-Grade 2 and Grades 3-7. Mark your calendars for the Crazy Grogger Service and Costume Parade on March 13th at 6:00 pm, followed by the Megillah Reading and Purim Spiel at 7:00 pm.
Women are invited to participate in the Women’s Shabbat on March 22nd at 9:00 am. Parts are available in both English and Hebrew; contact Mady Koransky at [email protected] or 201-965-0043 for more information. Finally, seniors can enjoy “Chair Yoga for Seniors” with Rabbi Schlosberg on March 25th from 12:15 to 1:30 pm. A light lunch will be served.
Glen Rock residents and the surrounding community are welcome to participate in these enriching and entertaining events at the Glen Rock Jewish Center. Check the GRJC website for registration details and further information on these and other upcoming events.
