Though I wished for more photos, the joy of experiencing this new place with my family overshadowed the need for pictures. Reluctantly, we left, wishing we had allocated more time to fully appreciate Face Rock State Scenic Viewpoint. It truly is a hidden treasure that’s easily missed if you’re not aware of its existence.
My only regrets were not bringing sand toys for the children and not having the opportunity to return to Face Rock before continuing our journey up the coast. It’s an ideal beach for a full day of family fun if time allows. However, our next destination, Heceta Head Lighthouse, also offered its own charming beach and breathtaking lighthouse views, continuing our Oregon Coast adventure.
