General Park Rules and User Responsibilities
All Bark Park users must adhere to the rules governing Erie County Park and Recreation Lands and comply with instructions from Parks Department Personnel. Dog owners are legally and financially responsible for any damage or injuries caused by their dogs.
Bark Park Hours and Supervision
The Bark Park operates from 7 AM to 9 PM during summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day) and from 7 AM to dusk during winter (Labor Day to Memorial Day). Children under 12 require adult supervision at all times. There is a limit of two dogs per adult within the Bark Park.
Dog Behavior and Restrictions
Dogs with a history of aggression are strictly prohibited. Any dog displaying aggressive behavior must be removed immediately. Puppies under four months old are not allowed, and dogs over six months must be spayed or neutered.
Vaccination and Licensing Requirements
All dogs must be licensed, vaccinated, and wear a collar with current ID tags. Required vaccinations include rabies, distemper, and parvo. Bordetella (kennel cough) and leptospirosis vaccinations are highly recommended.

Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and proper waste disposal. Littering is strictly prohibited.
Dog Size Restrictions and Prohibited Items
The Bark Park is divided into separate areas for small (30 lbs. or less) and large (31 lbs. or more) dogs. Small dogs are not permitted in the large dog area, and vice versa. Glass containers and human food are not allowed within the Bark Park. Feeding or giving treats to dogs other than your own is also prohibited.
