To ensure everyone enjoys their stay, we’ve established the following guidelines and policies. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with them to help us maintain a pleasant atmosphere for all our guests.
General Information for Your Stay
Check-In and Check-Out: Our check-in time is 3:00 PM, allowing us ample time to prepare for your arrival. Check-out time is 2:00 PM for campsites. For our cabin and cottage guests, check-out is at 12:00 PM. When you depart, please inform the office.
Early Departures and Refunds: Please note that we do not offer refunds for early departures due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. We encourage you to check the weather forecast before your arrival and pack accordingly.
Liability: Blue Rocks Campground is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or loss or damage of personal property that may occur during your stay. Camping is an outdoor activity with inherent risks, and we ask all guests to be aware of their surroundings and take necessary precautions.
Rules of Conduct for a Harmonious Camping Experience
To ensure a positive experience for all our campers at Blue Rocks Campground, we ask for everyone’s cooperation in observing the following rules of conduct. Please take the time to explain these rules to children and any guests accompanying you. Blue Rocks Campground reserves the right to evict, without prior notice, anyone who disrupts the peace, creates a nuisance, or violates any of our rules. In the event of eviction, no refunds will be issued.
Safety Guidelines for Everyone’s Well-being

Speed Limit: For the safety of all our campers, especially children, the campground speed limit is strictly enforced at 5 M.P.H. Please drive slowly and cautiously within the campground.

Camp at Your Own Risk: Guests camp at their own risk. Blue Rocks Campground is not liable for accidents or injuries that occur on the premises. Please be mindful of potential hazards and act responsibly.

Child Supervision: Adult supervision is crucial. Parents or guardians are responsible for the safety, behavior, and whereabouts of their children at all times while on campground property.

Pond Safety: Unattended children are strictly prohibited near the pond area. This rule is in place for their safety.

No Swimming in the Pond: Swimming is not permitted in the pond. The pond is for aesthetic enjoyment and is not designated for swimming activities.

Bicycle Rules: Bicycle riding is not allowed in the store area or near the main entrance for pedestrian safety. Helmets are mandatory for all riders, and bicycle riding is prohibited after dark.

Campfire Safety: Campfires must be completely extinguished before you go to bed or when leaving your campsite unattended. Please ensure all embers are out and the fire is cold to the touch.

Unattended Minors: Children may not be left unattended in the campground without a responsible adult present.
Campground Policies for a Smooth Stay

Alcohol Policy: Beer kegs are not allowed at Blue Rocks Campground. While we understand some guests may enjoy alcoholic beverages responsibly, we ask that they be kept discreetly at your campsite, not displayed publicly, and consumed responsibly. Please refer to our detailed Alcohol Policy below.

Visitor Policy: All visitors are required to register and pay a visitor fee upon entering the campground and must obtain a visitor pass. Visitors must depart the campground by 10:45 PM to respect quiet hours and the privacy of our campers.

Tree Preservation: Do not cut down any trees, whether living or dead. Damaging or defacing trees in any manner (including nails, saws, knives, etc.) is strictly prohibited. We are committed to preserving the natural beauty of our campground.

Power Tool Usage: To maintain a peaceful atmosphere, the use of power tools is not permitted between 3:00 PM on Fridays and 2:00 PM on Sundays. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Campground Property: Tables and fire rings are provided at each campsite for your convenience and are not to be removed from their designated sites.

Firearms and Fireworks: For the safety and comfort of all guests, firearms and fireworks are strictly prohibited within Blue Rocks Campground.

Trash Disposal: All trash must be properly bagged and disposed of in the dumpster before your departure. Help us keep our campground clean and beautiful.

Recycling: We encourage recycling! Please recycle aluminum cans by placing them in designated recycling containers.
Alcohol Policy: Responsible Enjoyment
Blue Rocks Family Campground aims to foster a welcoming and family-oriented atmosphere. Therefore, while we strongly discourage alcohol consumption, the abuse of alcohol is absolutely not permitted. Public intoxication and disorderly behavior will not be tolerated and will be addressed by local law enforcement. Bulk alcohol containers such as beer kegs and party balls, bulk cases of alcohol, and drinking games are not allowed. Any alcohol consumption must be confined strictly to your campsite and is not permitted at any organized campground activities or public areas.
Pet Policy: Welcoming Your Furry Friends
We welcome well-behaved pets at Blue Rocks Campground, but to ensure the comfort and safety of all guests, we have the following pet policy:
- Leash Requirement: Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outside your camping unit.
- No Unattended Pets: Pets are not to be left unattended outside at any time.
- Pet Waste Responsibility: You are required to clean up after your pets immediately and dispose of waste properly.
- Restricted Areas: Pets are absolutely not permitted in the playground, activities area, cabins, cottages, or the camp store for hygiene and safety reasons.
- Proof of Vaccinations: You must be able to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations for your pet if requested.
Courtesy and Respect for Fellow Campers
- Family-Friendly Language: Please refrain from using foul language. Blue Rocks Campground is a family campground, and we strive to maintain a respectful environment for everyone.
- Respect Campsites: Do not walk through occupied campsites or through the stream in front of campsites. Please respect the privacy and space of your fellow campers.
- Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are observed from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be considerate of others and minimize noise during these hours. Report any disruptive behavior to campground staff.
- Music and Noise Levels: Radios and music players must be kept at a volume that does not disturb neighboring campsites at any time.
- Campsite Condition: Please be considerate and leave your campsite in the same condition you would expect to find it upon arrival.
Pool Rules: Enjoying the Swimming Pool Safely
- Pool Hours: The pool is open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Please respect these hours and refrain from using the pool outside of these times.
- Swim at Your Own Risk: There is no lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk and supervise children closely.
- Age Restrictions: Children under 14 years of age are not allowed in the pool area without responsible adult supervision.
- Prohibited Items: For safety and hygiene reasons, glass containers, food, drinks (except water in non-glass containers), diving, cut-off shorts, animals, smoking, and rafts or balls are not permitted in the pool area.
- Hygiene: Long hair must be tied back or worn under a bathing cap to keep the pool clean and enjoyable for everyone.
