For residents and visitors in Little Rock, understanding how to interact with the Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) for reporting incidents or accessing records is essential. This guide provides comprehensive information on making new reports, requesting existing reports, and utilizing the Telephone Reporting Unit.
Filing a New Police Report

For online reporting, the LRPD utilizes Coplogic, an online citizen reporting system. To begin your report online, you can follow this link: https://secure.coplogic.com/dors/startreport/300005074. Alternatively, you can type littlerock.gov/onlinereport directly into your web browser. Please note that Internet Explorer is not a supported browser for this service. Online reporting is a streamlined method for certain types of incidents.
For in-person assistance or if your situation requires it, you can visit the LRPD Records Division located at 615 W Markham St., Little Rock, AR 72201. The Records Division operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Requesting Copies of Existing Reports
If you need to obtain a copy of a police report that has already been filed, the LRPD offers separate portals for accident and incident reports.
For accident reports, you can use the LexisNexis BuyCrash website: https://buycrash.lexisnexisrisk.com/. This service allows you to quickly access and purchase official accident reports.
For incident reports, you can make a request through the Coplogic system at: https://secure.coplogic.com/rar/startrequest/200001082. This online portal simplifies the process of requesting copies of various incident reports.
Both accident and incident reports can also be obtained in person at the LRPD Records Division during their operating hours. Reports are generally available eight hours after being taken and cost between $5.00 and $10.00. The Records Division can also assist with criminal and traffic history checks. For any additional inquiries, contact the Records Division directly at (501) 371-4654.
