Remember to review the schedule carefully, as some sessions are offered only once, while others are repeated throughout the day. To ensure everyone can fully participate in Rock Chalk Days, mobility assistance is available. Should you require a wheelchair, please contact the Watkins Health Center at (785) 864-9500 prior to the event day to arrange for availability. The Watkins Health Center is conveniently located at 200 Schwegler Drive.

Throughout Rock Chalk Days, KU Admissions staff will be readily available to answer your questions and provide guidance. Find them at the Kansas Union, Level 4 Lobby (8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) and the Jayhawk Welcome Center Lobby (10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.).

Campus Tours & Student Life Insights:

  • Student Ambassador Panel (11 a.m.): Gain invaluable insights into the authentic Jayhawk experience directly from current KU Student Ambassadors. Join the panel at the Kansas Union, Woodruff Auditorium, Level 5.
  • Campus Bus Tours (11 a.m. & 12 p.m.): Embark on a comprehensive overview of the beautiful KU campus aboard a guided bus tour led by knowledgeable Student Ambassadors. Tours depart from the Kansas Union, Ballroom, Level 5. Please note that bus capacity is limited for these popular tours.
  • Campus Walking Tours (1 p.m. & 2 p.m.): Explore the heart of KU on foot with an engaging walking tour led by a Student Ambassador. Discover key landmarks and learn about campus history. Meet at the Kansas Union, Ballroom, Level 5.

Residence Hall Showrooms:

  • Daisy Hill Commons (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.): Visit Daisy Hill Commons at 1620 Engel Rd. (between Self and Oswald Halls; accessible via shuttle to bus stop C) to tour a showroom and engage in Q&A sessions with housing staff.
  • Scholarship Halls – Crawford Community Center (12 p.m. – 4 p.m.): Explore the unique Scholarship Halls community at Crawford Community Center, 1346 Louisiana St., with drop-in showroom visits and information sessions.
