Maria Pujolas RN, BSN, CFT: Owner & Head Coach – Rock It With Maria!
Maria Pujolas, the heart and soul of Rock It Out, brings over 30 years of nursing experience and a deep understanding of the human body to her role as owner and head coach. A graduate of Akron University, Maria has been a Certified Fitness Trainer (CFT) since 2013 and established Rock It Out in the same year. Her passion for fitness is contagious, and she’s dedicated to helping everyone, especially those facing unique challenges, to really rock it in their fitness journey.
Maria’s commitment extends to specialized training, holding certifications in Rock Steady Boxing, Boxing, and Delay the Disease. She is also actively involved with the Parkinson’s Foundation, currently training for the ‘Aware in Care Ambassador program’. Her dedication to the Parkinson’s community is further highlighted by a grant awarded by the Parkinson’s Foundation in 2019, aimed at supporting young-onset and newly diagnosed individuals. In 2018, Maria’s impactful work was recognized with the ‘Parkinson’s Hero Award’ in Northeast Ohio from the Parkinson’s Foundation. With Maria leading the charge, you’re in expert hands to rock it towards better health.

Mick Pujolas: Coach & Volunteer – Rock It Out Support
Mick Pujolas, a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and The University of Mount Union, complements the Rock It Out team with his strong support and coaching expertise. Professionally, Mick is a Director of Financial Services for Axiom Law, bringing a strategic and organized approach to everything he does, including fitness. Since becoming Rock Steady Boxing Certified alongside Maria in 2013, Mick has been an invaluable volunteer and attends all Rock It Out events. He dedicates his evenings to coaching classes with Maria, ensuring that Rock It Out participants receive consistent and high-quality instruction. Mick’s commitment reinforces the supportive environment at Rock It Out, helping everyone rock it together.
Rachel Ferrence DPT: Physical Therapy Expertise – Rock It Out Movement
Rachel Ferrence brings a wealth of knowledge in movement and rehabilitation to Rock It Out. With a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Toledo, Rachel currently works at the Cleveland Clinic on the Neurological floor, giving her a deep understanding of neurological conditions and movement challenges. Her journey with Rock Steady Boxing began as a volunteer in Cleveland. Rachel’s passion for this specialized fitness led her to become Rock Steady Boxing certified and join Rock It Out as a coach in early 2020. Her physical therapy background enhances the team’s ability to help individuals rock it beyond limitations and improve their physical well-being.

Debbie McDonald: Yoga Instructor – Rock It Out Mind-Body Connection
Debbie McDonald adds a holistic dimension to Rock It Out with her expertise in yoga. A graduate of Miami University of Ohio with a background in International Business and Marketing, Debbie discovered her passion for yoga as a student and later deepened her practice when her children were younger. Certified as a yoga teacher in 2017 through Gathering Tree Yoga, Debbie joined Rock It Out in early 2021. She is enthusiastic about sharing the profound benefits of yoga for both physical and mental well-being with the Rock It Out community. Debbie’s classes help participants rock it by finding balance, flexibility, and inner peace alongside their fitness routines.
Oliver Harper: Exercise Physiology & Boxing Coach – Rock It Out Strength
Oliver Harper combines academic knowledge with real-world experience to empower Rock It Out participants. Holding a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Kent State University, Oliver is also a firefighter/paramedic and a dedicated fitness professional. His passion for exercise, particularly boxing, stems from its comprehensive approach to fitness, incorporating strength, cardio, and coordination. Oliver’s hands-on experience and energetic coaching style directly benefit Rock It Out boxers during classes. He helps individuals rock it by building strength, endurance, and confidence through boxing-inspired fitness.

Kim Russel: Fitness & Play Coach – Rock It Out Joyful Movement
Kim Russel brings decades of fitness expertise and infectious enthusiasm to Rock It Out. Teaching exercise and fitness classes since 1982 and certified by IDEA in 1988, Kim’s experience is vast and varied. She holds certifications in Yoga, Zumba, Reflexive Performance Reset, and Oxygen Advantage. With 14 years as a PE teacher and 28 years coaching lacrosse, Kim understands how to make fitness engaging and fun for all ages. Her philosophy of incorporating play and joy into every coaching session makes exercising at Rock It Out a truly uplifting experience. Kim helps everyone rock it with a smile, embracing the fun side of fitness.
Dominic LaGrecca: Personal Trainer & Motivational Coach – Rock It Out Energy
Dominic LaGrecca is a dynamic coach at Rock It Out, known for his positive attitude and motivating energy. With experience as a Personal Trainer and owner of his own business, Dominic brings a wealth of practical fitness knowledge and entrepreneurial drive to the team. He actively leads classes and works closely with Rock It Out boxers, ensuring everyone feels supported and encouraged. Dominic’s hard-working energy is contagious, keeping the energy high and helping individuals rock it to their maximum potential during every class.

Maggie Langley: Cycling & Group Fitness Expert – Rock It Out Variety
Maggie Langley is a seasoned fitness professional with over 30 years in the industry. Her extensive experience includes managing successful Group Fitness programs and working in Corporate Fitness settings. At Rock It Out, Maggie specializes in cycling class instruction, bringing her expertise and energy to every ride. Her diverse fitness background also includes teaching Step, Bootcamp, FALL PROOF Balance, TRX, Cardio, POUND, Kickboxing, and Pilates. In 2011, Maggie’s dedication to fitness was recognized with the Crain’s Cleveland Business Health Care Hero Award for her impactful work with the senior population. Maggie’s versatile skills help everyone at Rock It Out rock it across a wide range of fitness disciplines.
