HGTV’s hit home renovation competition series, Rock The Block, has been renewed for a thrilling sixth season, promising an exciting twist for fans. Hosted once again by the charismatic Ty Pennington, Season 6 will premiere in Spring 2025 with a format shake-up: veteran teams will battle rookie teams for ultimate bragging rights.
Season 6 of Rock the Block will feature a dynamic mix of returning champions and fresh faces. Representing the veterans are star designer Alison Victoria of Windy City Rehab and previous Rock the Block winner Michel Smith Boyd from Luxe for Less. They will be joined by home restoration expert Jonathan Knight of Farmhouse Fixer and his New Kids on the Block bandmate and brother, Jordan Knight, also from Farmhouse Fixer Camp Revamp.
Chelsea and Cole DeBoer, rookie contestants on Rock the Block Season 6, from HGTV's Down Home Fab, ready for home renovation challenges.
The rookie teams are set to bring fresh energy to Rock the Block. Married home renovation professionals Chelsea and Cole DeBoer of Down Home Fab will make their debut, alongside house-flipping experts Kamohai and Tristyn Kalama from Renovation Aloha. These newcomers are eager to prove their skills and rock the block against seasoned competitors.
Pennington will challenge these HGTV powerhouses in a renovation clash unlike any before. This season, the competition moves just outside Salt Lake City, Utah, where teams will tackle larger houses with even greater challenges. The prize? Street-naming rights and, of course, the coveted Rock the Block title.

Each team will have just six weeks and a $250,000 budget to transform identical modern properties boasting stunning mountain views, expanded interior bonus spaces, and the largest backyards in the show’s history. They’ll need to bring their signature styles and innovative designs to rock the block and impress the judges.
“Rock the Block consistently delivers top ratings for HGTV, captivating millions of viewers,” said Betsy Ayala, Interim Head of Content, HGTV. “This season, we’re amplifying the excitement by pitting fan-favorite veterans against talented rookies, promising unexpected twists and heightened competition as they rock the block.”
The homes for this season are being built by Hamlet Homes, based in Utah. Rock the Block is produced by Big Table Media, ensuring another season of high-stakes renovations and dramatic reveals as teams compete to truly rock the block. Get ready for Season 6 in Spring 2025!
