Accessing Student Report Cards Online with Round Rock ISD Home Access

Keeping track of your student’s academic progress in Round Rock ISD has never been easier, thanks to the Home Access Center (HAC). Report cards for students in grades 3 through 12, and competency reports for students from Kindergarten to grade 2, are readily available for viewing and printing through the Round Rock Isd Home Access Center (HAC) platform. This convenient online system ensures parents and guardians can stay informed about their children’s educational journey.

To access your student’s report card, simply log in to your HAC account. Once logged in, navigate to the ‘Grades’ section located in the top navigation menu. From there, select the ‘Report Card’ tab to display the report and competency card page. If you need a hard copy, printing the report is straightforward: just click the ‘Print’ tab situated on the far right of the screen.

The report cards page will present the most recent academic report for your student. For students in grades 3 – 12, these comprehensive reports include a wealth of information. You’ll find details on your student’s courses, course descriptions, class periods, teacher names, credits attempted and earned, attendance records, grades achieved, and any relevant comment codes provided by their teachers. To understand any comment codes used, a comment legend is conveniently located at the bottom of the report card page, offering valuable insights into teacher feedback.

According to Katie Rice, student application support manager, “Adding report cards is another way the District continues to add value to the Home Access Center.” She emphasizes the HAC’s role as “a central location for parents and students to manage their grades, assignments, and other information related to campus life.” This centralized access makes managing student information efficient and user-friendly.

Further enhancing its utility, the Home Access Center offers additional report features. Parents can easily view report cards from previous reporting periods, allowing for a historical overview of academic progress. Additionally, starting from the fourth marking period, report cards become printable, providing flexibility in how you choose to keep records.

For a more in-depth look at specific grades, if a mark on the report card appears as a link, clicking it will open the ‘Classwork’ window. This window provides a detailed breakdown of assignment dates, scores achieved, points allocated for classwork, and overall classwork average information, offering a granular view of performance.
