From January 17th to 19th, 2025, the Charline McCombs Empire Theatre will transform into a stage for incredible talent, featuring a score by the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber and direction by the visionary Logan Epstein. Leading this spectacular production is Tanner Berry, who captivated audiences in SABT’s “Rock of Ages,” stepping into the iconic role of Dewey Finn, the wannabe rockstar turned substitute teacher. Joining him is the exceptionally talented Alexis Semevolos-Velzquez as Rosalie Mullins, returning to SABT after her memorable performances in “Cabaret,” “Rent,” and “Rock of Ages.” The cast is further strengthened by Jack Ducat and Alexandra Shepherd, who will bring to life the characters of Ned Schneebly and Patty.
However, the true heart-pounding excitement of “School of Rock” lies in its phenomenal ensemble of 13 young actor-musician prodigies. Hailing from prestigious institutions like the Northeast School of the Arts, Folks Middle School, and Keystone School, these incredibly gifted youngsters are ready to unleash their musical prowess live on stage, playing their own instruments and delivering show-stopping performances.
