Chetola Blowing Rock Pet Policy Details
Chetola Resort designates specific rooms for guests traveling with dogs. Dog-friendly rooms are available on the first and second floors of the Lodge, subject to availability, so advance booking, mentioning your pet, is essential. We gladly accommodate up to two well-mannered, domestic dogs per room, each weighing under 50 lbs. A pet fee of $50 per dog, per night, is charged upfront to cover additional cleaning and maintenance. Please note that while we love dogs, other types of animals cannot be accommodated.
For the comfort and safety of all guests at Chetola Blowing Rock, we require that all dogs be leashed when in public areas within the resort. During any scheduled in-room services, such as housekeeping or maintenance, your dog must either be out of the room with you or safely secured in a crate. Failure to comply with our pet policy may result in a penalty of $100 per animal per day. In cases of repeated or severe violations, Chetola Resort reserves the right to terminate a guest’s stay without refund. Kindly be aware that pets are not permitted in Chetola’s exclusive Manor House or within any of the Chetola Premier Condominiums to maintain the pristine environment for all guests.

To ensure every guest has a seamless experience at Chetola Blowing Rock, please take note of our standard lodge policies. Check-in time is officially at 3:00 PM, and check-out time is 11:00 AM. A valid photo ID and a credit card are required at check-in. The credit card must have sufficient available credit to cover the total cost of your stay. This is standard procedure to secure any incidentals during your visit to Chetola Blowing Rock. For the health and comfort of all our guests, all rooms within Chetola Lodge are designated as non-smoking.
For families traveling with infants or needing extra bedding, Pack-n-Plays and rollaway beds are available for a nominal fee of $10 per day. We also offer rooms equipped to be fully accessible for handicapped guests, subject to availability. Advance reservations are highly recommended to guarantee your preferred room type and dates, especially if you require a pet-friendly or accessible room at Chetola Blowing Rock. We accept major credit cards including American Express, Mastercard, Visa, and Discover Card to secure your reservation. While debit cards are accepted, we recommend using a credit card for smoother processing at check-in. Payments can also be made via cash, Traveler’s Checks, or personal checks (with proper identification and a major credit card present). Please be aware that a three-day advance cancellation notice is required to receive a full refund. Requests for changes to reservation dates are accommodated based on room availability.
