Rock Falls Raceway to Host Inaugural Winter Sports Storm

Rock Falls Raceway is gearing up to host the first-ever Winter Sports Storm, a three-day winter recreation extravaganza, from February 27th to March 1st, 2025. This exciting event promises a thrilling lineup of winter sports activities, competitive races, and entertainment for all ages.

Winter Sports Storm: A Celebration of Winter at Rock Falls Raceway

The inaugural Winter Sports Storm at Rock Falls Raceway will feature a diverse range of activities catering to various interests. Attendees can expect snowmobile and motorsports racing, alongside opportunities for snowshoeing, fat tire biking, and cross-country skiing. The event will also include kubb, a radar run, a skills relay, and more. Organizers are encouraging community groups and organizations to participate by hosting their own winter-themed activities.

Rock Falls Raceway, situated on the border of Eau Claire and Dunn counties in Wisconsin, provides the perfect backdrop for this winter celebration. A heated entertainment tent will offer respite from the cold, featuring Rock Falls Raceway’s concessions, local food trucks, live music, group rides, and kids’ winter activities.

Daredevil Consulting Brings Winter Sports to Life

“Wisconsin winter is just a different beast,” explains Benny Anderson of Daredevil Consulting, who is organizing the event in collaboration with Brian Sandy and Jeff Johnson. “We really set out to show off the trails, season, and sports, especially snowmobiling racing!” This passion for winter recreation is evident in the comprehensive planning and diverse activities planned for Winter Sports Storm. Anderson emphasizes the organizers’ commitment to showcasing Wisconsin’s unique winter offerings and providing attendees with opportunities to experience them firsthand.

Supporting Lakken’s Legacies: A Meaningful Partnership

Beyond the thrill of competition and winter fun, Winter Sports Storm is dedicated to supporting a worthy cause. The event will contribute a portion of gate proceeds and host a 50/50 raffle to benefit Lakken’s Legacies. This organization honors the memory of Lakken Burzynski, who passed away at 21 after battling cancer, by providing “Best Day Ever” experiences, emergency funding, and support to young adults with cancer and their families.
