Essential Skills and Training
Rock River Rapids is scheduled to open to the public on Memorial Day. To ensure the safety and well-being of our guests, all staff members are required to hold current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Adult/Child AED before the park opens. Specifically for our lifeguard team, certification as a water park lifeguard is also mandatory. Don’t worry if you’re not already certified! We provide comprehensive water park lifeguard training during our dedicated staff training week. Training for various other aspects of the facility operations will commence up to two weeks prior to opening day. It is essential that you are available and committed to attending all required training sessions for your specific job position to be eligible to work at Rock River Rapids.
