As a valued member of our Walmart Round Rock team, your specific duties will depend on your role, but both Cashiers and Cart/Janitorial Associates are essential to our store’s success.

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement: Greet every customer with a genuine smile and positive attitude. Thank them for shopping at Walmart Round Rock, creating a welcoming and appreciative atmosphere.
• Efficient Checkout: Stand comfortably for extended periods while accurately and quickly scanning items and processing transactions.
• Maintain Store Appearance: Keep your checkout area clean, organized, and presentable for a positive customer experience.
• Customer Assistance: Answer customer inquiries politely and assist them with any needs or direct them to the right department for further assistance.
• Teamwork: Be a team player and be ready to assist fellow associates across different departments in the store when needed, contributing to a seamless store operation.

Cart and Janitorial Responsibilities:

• First and Last Impressions: Ensure every customer’s first and last impression of Walmart Round Rock is excellent by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
• Cart Retrieval: Efficiently gather shopping carts from the parking lot and ensure an ample supply of carts is always available for customers.
• Equipment Operation: Operate cart retrieval equipment safely and effectively to transport carts from the parking lot back into the store.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms, the sales floor, and the parking lot, ensuring a pleasant shopping environment for everyone.
• Positive Attitude in All Conditions: Maintain a positive and helpful attitude, even when working outdoors in various weather conditions.
